| Springtime |
Our farm is for sale. There is no big secret to share, we just feel it is time to move on to a new adventure in life. We have a longing for a cooler climate, and less convenience. I know, crazy right?! The details are mostly in the 2011 posts if you are interested. We originally were trying to sell the farm on our own and that is how and why this blog was started. Just in case you were wondering why the posts are from way back in 2011. Our email is pafarmgirl1@gmail.com if you would like to contact us directly. I check this email nearly everyday and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also feel free to contact our realtor with any questions or to set up a showing.

The Basics:
Land--68 acres per survey
Buildings--1730's Brownstone farmhouse
- 3 bedrooms with attic space that can be finished for more- 2 full baths, 1 half bath
- Lots of original features and charm
- Located back a long winding drive, not directly on the road as is unfortunately common with old farmhouses. Lovely country setting.
--1834 Brownstone German Bank Barn
-Box stalls, tack room, feed storage, bedding storage all on lower level
- Open second level easy access, as is standard with bank barns, tons of hay storage
-- Drive in storage building, great for wagons, tractors, or bikes
-- Stone spring house
-- Old rental property, mobile home that needs to be replaced. Has it's own electric, septic, and well making the potential endless. This is located closer to the road than the barn and farmhouse. Would make a great spot for a caretaker or in-law cottage, maybe a carriage house, or a fantastic business location--we have a commercial overlay for our rural residential zoning, meaning you can operate your own business from the farm without the hassle of needing a zoning variance.
More Land info-- mature gardens filled with hundreds of perennials, orchard with mature trees, established fenced vegetable and herb garden. Mature high producing Strawberry patch, 15 Blueberry bushes, numerous Raspberry bushes. High Tensil fencing around main pasture, corral area, smaller pasture currently fenced for sheep, third pasture with brand new fencing in 2012 set up for horses, cows, sheep, or goats. Stream frontage, creek frontage, maintained trails throughout the forest. Open fields completely hidden from anyone's view---would be great food plot areas as they are surrounded by woods.

Price is listed at $870,000---willing to negotiate
Please see 2011 posts for lots more details and photos---please feel free to email with questions:)
